Dr Chen Qin

Dr Chen Qin is a Lecturer in Computer Vision and Machine Learning at Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and I-X, Imperial College London. Her research is interdisciplinary in nature and at the intersection between machine learning and medical imaging. Her current research mainly focuses on the development of trustworthy and robust machine learning algorithms for multimodal medical image computing and analysis.

Deep Learning Meets Medical Imaging

Talk Summary

Deep learning has shown great potential in improving the entire medical imaging workflow, from image acquisition to disease treatment. This talk will focus on the recent advances of deep learning in medical imaging, from the reconstruction of signals to quantification of clinically useful information. My team and I will talk about our recent research works on model-based deep learning in MRI reconstruction and the utility of deep learning in medical image analysis.
