White City Campus

I-X is based at Imperial College London’s White City campus on the fifth floor of the Translation and Innovation Hub (I-Hub). The White City campus is situated in the White City Innovation District, an initiative in partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham to promote economic growth which brings together industrial partners and innovative academics in one area. Academics from the College and I-X conduct novel research and inspire business ventures in fields such as quantum computing, renewable energy and artificial intelligence.

One of the main objectives of I-X is to join academics and businesses to better understand new technologies and bring them to market in application areas like healthcare, sustainability, defence and economy. As many companies in the White City Innovation District engage in these fields, the close proximity of I-X to these businesses is a huge benefit. The I-Hub itself is a collaborative space full of offices, laboratories and research facilities all under one roof.
